Being in and “on” radio for 24 years, 18 of those in news, qualifies you to be able to pass on the experience and insights of the electronic media industry.
After stints at a number of radio stations around Australia, Peter spent 5 years at the then number-1 Brisbane station FM104/MMM. He became the News Director in 1990 before, 12 months later, making the switch to Brisbane’s B105 as the Assistant News Director. Coincidentally, in the first survey after he joined B105, the station became the new number-1.
For the next 12 years Peter helped maintain B105’s top ranking in the city, and as one of Australia’s highest rating radio stations, writing, producing and broadcasting news with a creative, unique, style and flair.
Those skills and experiences are now incorporated in the other facets of his business.
His experience of covering events from where they happened includes:
- Life and Death situations, (house fires, cyclones, armed robberies, accidents);
- Major Political changes (Mayors, Premiers, Prime Ministers);

Peter has conducted more than 3 thousand interviews and saw the good, the bad, and the ugly in how to deal with a media that can be friend one minute and piranha the next.
